In 2022, I was inspired to initiate the ATLM Tools while still working as an instructor at a Medical Laboratory Technology school. I realized that memorizing a simple calculation, cell characteristics, Plasmodium, and others. I wanted to create a resource center focused on service providers that could enhance efficiency and make learning or tools a little more helpful and easier. I tried from one or two tools using the help of the free platform from Google, Blogger, and this is also a continuation project of the ATLM online textbook web. Hopefully, these tools can evolve into a platform that provides practical tools, on various devices, and integrated into daily workflows, to support medical professionals in providing more efficient and evidence-based care to patients.
Sodikin Kurniawan is the founder of ATLM Tools and the
Online Textbook ATLM. He is also a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Semarang. He pursued his education in the Master's Program of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Graduate School of Muhammadiyah University Semarang. He serves as an instructor in the educational laboratory.
I did not come from a healthcare family background. I also did not initially consider pursuing a career in healthcare, but I began to develop a liking for what I had learned and also enjoyed thinking about ways to solve bigger problems in a creative manner, which initially seemed contrary to a career in healthcare. I sought creative approaches to enhance what I do and how I support medical laboratory technologists worldwide.
